Doris A. Cole

Doris A. Cole, 80, formerly of Saegertown, current resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since December 1994, died there Wednesday, August 9, 1995, following a period of declining health.

She was born May 14, 1915 in Meridale, NY,  a daughter of George and Belva (Roudebush) Kirk.

She was a graduate of Meadville High School, a homemaker, and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Grayce Stallsmith of Millersville, MD; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Martha) Burchard of Meadville and Margaret Held of Pottstown; seven brothers, Arthur Kirk of Cambridge, OH, Lloyd Kirk of Meadville, Elton Kirk of Saegertown, Edwin Kirk of Jacksonville, FL, David Kirk of Guys Mills, Theodore Kirk of Canton, NC and Paul Kirk of Cambridge Springs; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
