Doris M. Kline

Doris M. Kline, 83, a former resident of Juniper Village, Meadville, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Rolling Fields, Conneautville.

She was born January 27, 1929 in Marlborough, MA, a daughter of Bennett and Olive Cleversey Cross.  She married Eugene M. Kline March 22, 1952.

Doris was employed at Peoples National Bank in Marlborough and subsequently worked for 20 years as an executive secretary at Datacom Systems, Inc. in Framingham, MA.

She had been a member and former Sunday School superintendent at Holy Trinity Church, Marlborough and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Meadville.

Doris was a very positive person who loved life.  She enjoyed traveling and attending Navy reunions with her husband, loved animals especially cats, and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Eugene of 60 years, include three children, Mark Kline and his wife Judy of Harrisonburg, VA, Gary Kline of Meadville, and Stacey Kline of Meadville; eight grandchildren, Marcus, Beverlee, Jacob, Brent, Nathanael, Lisa, Jaimie, and Kerry; four great-grandchildren, Emmett, Nicolas, Julius, and Jaxson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Cross and a sister, Barbara Cummings.

There are no calling hours.

The memorial service will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 870 Diamond Park, Meadville with the Rev. Richard Elberfeld, officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough, MA.
