Dorothy B. Lewis

Mrs. Dorothy B. Lewis, 68, of Meadville, died Saturday, March 7, 1987, at Meadville Medical Center following a sudden illness.

She was born in Pittsburgh on May 1, 1918, a daughter of Irvin and Freida Schlottbaum Boyle.  She married Lester G. Lewis on August 16, 1941.

Survivors include two sons, Robert I. Lewis of Mercer and David R. Lewis of Tucker, GA; six daughters, Mrs. Janice Lazorishak at home, Mrs. Roger (Nancy) Shaw of Cooperstown, Mrs. David (Sara) Rollick of St. Marys, Miss Nora Lewis of Titusville, Miss Bethany Lewis of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Robert (Bonita) Pollard of Virginia Beach, VA; five sisters, Mrs. Violet Pfirrman of Dorseyville, Mrs. Ed (Salli) Mockus of Aliquippa, Mrs. Warner (Myrtle) Passmore of Gibsonia, Mrs. Grace Kitchen of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Lois Astornio of Sharpsburg; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sons, James, Gordon and Richard.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
