Dorothy E. Mccullough

Dorothy E. McCullough, 91, of Saegertown, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at Crawford County Care Center.  She was born April 11, 1907, in Warren, OH, a daughter of Daur Glen & Blanche Love Eddy.  She married Stanley L. McCullough May 29, 1934, and he preceded her in death March 13, 1996.

Mrs. McCullough graduated from Meadville High School and had attended Allegheny College for one year, where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority.  She had been employed by the City of Meadville in the City Treasurer's Office for many years, retiring in 1969.  She was a member of the Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church of Saegertown; the Order of Eastern Star; the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Order of the Amaranth.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James (Charlotte) Bennett of Kyle, TX; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlotte Spears and Virginia Meadowcroft.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
