Dorothy O. First

Mrs. Dorothy O. First, 63, of Meadville, wife of Carl O. First, died of a heart attack at their home Wednesday morning.

A daughter of H. Eugene and Mary Wilson Crouch, she was born in Ashville, NC and lived nearly all her life in Meadville.  She was a member of the Class of 1912 at Meadville High School; a member of Stone United Methodist Church and of the Myrtle Lodge, Daughters of Rebekah.

Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. John H. McCooey of Meadville and Mrs. James C. Leslie of Bradford Woods; a son, Vincent E. of Kenmore, NY; a sister, Mrs. S. Arthur First of Meadville; two brothers, Charles E. Crouch of S. San Gabriel, CA and Walter W. Crouch of Redwood City, CA; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
