Dorothy Irene "Irene" Fuller, 88, of Conneaut Lake, died at home, on January 5, 2015.
She was born May 9, 1926, in Cranesville, a daughter of John and Mary Pavolko Huya. She married James Arthur Fuller on September 28, 1946, and he preceded her in death on May 7, 2008.
She and her husband operated the Red & White Grocery Store in Conneaut Lake from 1954-1965, and previously she had worked at Kennedy's General Store in Cranesville for five years.
She was a 1944 graduate of the former Albion High School, where she was the class salutatorian. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, its Alter Rosary Society, was a former CCD teacher, and made children's baptismal gowns for many years.
She is survived by a son, Terry L. Fuller and his wife Kathy of Conneaut Lake; three grandchildren, Brent A. Fuller and his wife Kristen, Kevin L. Fuller and his wife Leigh, and Heather M. Fuller; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her oldest son, Blaine E. Fuller in 1976; and two brothers, George R. Huya and Jack Huya.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake, with a Rosary Service at 7:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m., at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth St., Conneaut Lake.
Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Crossingville.
