Dorothy M. Johnston, 91, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born September 3, 1922 in Franklin, a daughter of George W. and Ruth Karns Logue.
Dorothy was a 1941 graduate of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind, Pittsburgh. She was employed as a cashier in the cafeteria at Meadville Medical Center for over 25 years.
She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church and former choir member, member and past Royal Matron of the former Order of the Amaranth, Allegheny Court 115. An avid reader, Dorothy also enjoyed classical music.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy R. Albaugh and her husband Zane of Meadville; a grandson, Dr. Jonathan D. Albaugh of Las Vegas, NV; one niece; and three nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia L. Wilson and two brothers, Robert W. Logue and George Harry Logue.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
