Mrs. Dorothy Mickle, 52, of Little Cooley, died suddenly while undergoing tests at Hamot Hospital, Erie, Friday, October 13, 1967.
She was born in Harborcreek, February 11, 1915, a daughter of Charles H. and Edith King Kline. She married Glenn Mickle on August 3, 1940.
Mrs. Mickle had been employed as secretary to the Townville Elementary School principle for the past six years.
She was a member of Little Cooley Evangelical United Brethren Church where she has been the church organist since 1948. She was a member and past worthy matron of Cambridge Springs 114, Order of Eastern Star. She had been organist for this organization since 1960. Mrs. Mickle also was a member of Trinity White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was a graduate of Harborcreek High School and of Erie Business College.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Miss Lois Mickle of Pittsburgh; a son, Douglas, a student at Penn State; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Winona) Steele of Harborcreek; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Millers Station Cemetery, Rockdale Township.
