Dorothy Miller

Dorothy Miller, 90, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community the past seven years, died Monday, March 2, 1998 at the Meadville Medical Center following a short illness.

She was born in Meadville, May 22, 1907, a daughter of the late Harry J. and Roberta Cutshall Dean.  She married Wilbur V. Miller, June 28, 1939 and he preceded her in death August 6, 1989.

She was a graduate of Edinboro State Normal School and was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.  She was a homemaker and taught school for several years in Vernon and Hayfield Township and Meadville.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Boylan and Cecil Calvin Byham and three brothers, H. Arthur, Lewis K. and H. Morris Dean.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
