Dr. E. H. Kahler, of Meadville, who retired last year as practicing dentist, died at Spencer Hospital Saturday, August 3, 1963, after a long illness.
He was born at Newport, PA, a son of William and Margaret Weymer Kahler. He and the former Catherine Walster were married June 25, 1913.
A graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and of Temple University, Dr. Kahler practiced dentistry at Spangler before moving to Meadville.
He was a member of Meadville Masonic Lodge 408.
He is survived by his widow; a son, William H. Kahler of Cleveland; a brother, Walter Kahler of Chester; four grandchildren of Boynton Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Dr. David J. Kahler, died January 17, 1955.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
