Dr. Martin Van Buren Boyd, 97, of Meadville died at his home on Monday, October 27, 1975.
Dr. Boyd attended Buffalo University in New York and graduated from Western Reserve University at Cleveland. He practiced dentistry in Meadville for 54 years before retiring in 1958. In 1954 he was presented a life membership in the American Dental Assoc. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his widow, Ianthe Lang Boyd; a son, George Boyd; four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Ianthe) Henkels, Miss Catherine Boyd, Mrs. Robert R. (Phyllis) Laderer and Mrs. Marylyn Trace; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Martin V. Boyd and Martine Boyd.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
