Dr. Thomas B. Watson

March 13, 1925 — January 21, 1980

Dr. Thomas B. Watson, 54, of Conneaut Lake, was died on arrival at Spencer Hospital Monday, January 21, 1980, following a sudden illness.

He was born in Pittsburgh March 13, 1925, a son of Thomas M. and Gretchen Breidinger Watson.  He married Madelene Cook, December 28, 1946.

Dr. Watson attended Penn State University and graduated from the Palmer Chiropractic College, Davenport, IA.  He was a World War II veteran, serving as first lieutenant in the former US Army Air Force and receiving numerous decorations.  He also was editorial advisor to the American Chiropractor, a professional pubication.

Dr. Watson was self-employed at Watson Chiropractic Clinics located in Conneaut Lake and West Springfield.  He previously operated an office in Erie for 25 years.

He was a member of the Church of the Covenant, Erie, Conneaut Lake Sportsmen's Club, Masonic fraternity of Erie, Scottish Rites Bodies of Erie and Zem Zem Shrine of Erie.

Dr. Watson was past president of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Society, District No. 7, and past officer of both the local and state associations.  He was a member of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Assn., the International Chiropractic Assn. and the Parker Chiropractic Research Foundation.

In addition to his wife, Dr. Madelene Cook Watson, he is survived by a daughter, Sheree Lee of Erie; two sons, Thomas Dana of Erie and Eric Cook of Conneaut Lake and one granddaughter.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
