Dr. William Harry Minium

January 26, 1881 — January 1, 1753

Dr. William Harry Minium, 75, a practicing dentist in Meadville from 1909 to March 1955, when he retired, died last night at Meadville City Hospital.

He had been hospitalized Monday after suffering a stroke at his home in Meadville.

Dr. Minium retired following the death of his wife, the former Helen DeArment, last year.

A native of Meadville, he was born January 26, 1881, a son of George and Anna Davison Minium, and spent most of his life in Meadville.

He was graduated from Meadville High School and in 1908 from the University of Pittsburgh Dental College.

Dr. Minium and Dr. E. L. Leonard were associated in dental practice from 1909 until Dr. Minium's retirement.

Dr. Minium was a member of Stone Methodist Church, Crawford County Dental Society, a life member of American Dental Assn., the Iroquois Club, the Country Club, Taylor Hose Co. and Lodge 408, F and AM.

Until recent years, he was an avid angler.

Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Wayne Stoner and Mrs. Carl Cheney, Jr., both of Meadville; two nephews, George S. and William A. DeArment, both of Meadville; and an aunt, Mrs. Emma Battieger of Greenville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
