Dulcie Alberta Crickbaum, 90 of Wesbury, formerly of Conneaut Lake, passed away on May 7, 2024 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, comforted by her families love. Alberta was born in West Union, WV on April 27, 1934 to the late Boyers and Madge (Mossor) Williams. She was a 1955 graduate of Doddridge County High School in WV. She worked at the Chicago Dairy in Clarksburg, WV before deciding to dedicate her life to being a full-time homemaker and mother to her daughter. She enjoyed her home & filled it with warmth and kindness and was a great listener. She also enjoyed volunteering for the American Cancer Society for many years as well as reading and dancing. She enjoyed her years at Wesbury Cribbs where she made many friendships with residents and staff and enjoyed the many outings they took.
She married her beloved husband, Hartzel Crickbaum, in 1958, he preceded her in death on January 26, 1982.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter: Terri (Gregory) Ream of Conneaut Lake, grandchildren: Corey (Kelsie) Ream and Kaitlin Ream, great-grandchildren: Kolter Ream, Marlee Ream, and Brodeigh Alexander, sister: Ellen (Don) Grooms, brother: Robert Williams, as well as many nieces and nephews. Alberta loved and took great pleasure in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents and husband, Alberta was preceded in death by her longtime companion: Peter “Pete” Damico, sister: Edith Good, and brother: William Williams.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC – CONNEAUT LAKE, 12422 Conneaut Lake Road. Funeral services will be private.
Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
