E. Gordon Hall, 43, of Hayfield Township, died at his residence Tuesday, July 16, 1985, after an 18-month illness.
He was born at Meadville, November 25, 1941, a son of Edwin (Mike) and Lillian Hood Hall. He married Sandra Prest June 11, 1977. She survives.
He was last employed as a design engineer by Viking Tool and Gage for one year. Prior to that, he was employed for eight years by Starn Tool Co. and before that by Pennsylvania Tool and Gage for 10 years.
He was a graduate of Meadville public schools, a former member of City Tenpin bowling league, Huckleberry Hounds bowling league, the Tool Room golf league and the Meadville Elks No. 219.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Kandis Hall and Anita Steele, both of Erie and Melanie Hall of California; five stepchildren, Mark, Kimberly, Shari, Glenn and Craig Prest, all at home; a sister, Mrs. George (Elizabeth) Bayer of Meadville; a brother, Daniel L. Hall of Denver, PA; two grandchildren; four nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, James Victor.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
