Earl C. Myers

Earl C. Myers, 80, of Meadville, died Sunday afternoon, May 14, 1972, at Mead Nursing Home after a long illness.

He was born in Meadville, March 30, 1892, a son of Charles H. and Phoebe Keisel Myers.  He married Florence McNamara of Wayland in 1915.  She died in 1952.  He retired in 1949 for reasons of health after having been employed by the Erie Railroad Co. for 38 years.  He was a member of First Baptist Church and a 50-year member of Crawford Masonic Lodge 234.

Surviving are two sons, Robert W. of Meadville and Charles E. of San Jose, CA; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  A son, William A., died in 1953.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
