Earl Drayer, Jr.

Earl Drayer, Jr., 57, of Massillon, OH, died at Massillon City Hospital Monday, July 15, 1978, following an industrial accident at work.

He was born in Conneautville, December 13, 1920.  He first married Rose Marie Porfilio who died in 1976.  He then married June Moore July 26, 1978.  He worked for the Price Brothers concrete tile construction company, Ashtabula, as a painter and patcher.  He was a member of Canal Fulton Baptist Church, Massillon.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Graham of Conneautville; four step-daughters, Mrs. Margaret Simpson, Mrs. Hazel Steele, Mrs. Rosalie Kimple and Mrs. Mary Luzier, all of Meadville; a stepmother, Mrs. Nora Drayer of Meadville; two stepsons, John Porfilio of Ashtabula and David Moore of Massillon; 23 stepgrandchildren and ten stepgreatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a twin brother, Merle.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Denny Cemetery.
