Edgar J. Roberts

Edgar J. Roberts, 48, of Meadville, died suddenly at the home of his mother, Mrs. Grace Roberts of Meadville, Friday, August 29, 1969.

He was born in Meadville, November 9, 1920, a son of Edgar C. and Grace Grindrod Roberts.  He was married to Mercades Terry Bollman, January 2, 1947.  He was formerly employed as a machinist at Talon Division of Textron.  He was a member of Merchant Marine prior to World War II and served with the US Paratroppers in World War II.

Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Miss Theresa Roberts of Boston, MA and Miss Carol Roberts at home; one son, Jeffrey at home and his mother.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
