Edith Braymer, age 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25th at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, PA where she had been a resident since August of 2016.

She was born in Meadville, March 15th, 1929, daughter of Edmund and Coletta Cunningham.  She was their youngest child. She had two brothers and one sister: Edmund, Phillip, and Coletta, all three preceding her in death.

She married Robert Braymer on October 11th, 1952.  Robert passed away in December of 1995.  She had two children, Patricia Boyce of Leesburg, FL and Charles Braymer of Orefield, PA, two grandchildren, Annessa Braymer of Columbia, TN and Wesley Braymer of Elk Grove, CA, and one great grandchild, Elise Meads-Braymer of Elk Grove, CA.

She was a graduate of Randolph High School and worked for Penelec as a clerk/secretary from 1947-1952. She married and raised her family, then later returned to work at West End Elementary School in the cafeteria from 1992-1998.

She was a long-time member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church in Conneaut Lake until her move to Fellowship Community near Allentown in 2016.

Her biggest passion in life was traveling to see the sites.  She visited most of our National Parks, took countless trips with Anderson Bus Tours, visited Europe on a bus tour, made a couple of ocean cruises, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing all those touristy landmarks.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Edith at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church in Conneaut Lake on Monday, July 3rd with viewing from 10:00am-11:00am and Mass following at 11:00am.

Interment will be next to her husband in the Saint Hippolyte Cemetery, Frenchtown, PA.
