Edith M. Hendrix

Edith M. Hendrix, 64, of Meadville, formerly of Kansas City, MO, died at City Hospital Friday morning, October 9, 1970.  She had been in failing health.

She was born in Orrick, MO, July 26, 1906, a daughter of William D. and Carrie Blaine Loyd.  She was the widow of John O. Hendrix who died in 1961.

Mrs. Hendrix was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Carrah) Clayton of Meadville; two sons, John D. Hendrix of Nashville, TN and William Fred Hendrix of New Orleans, LA and six grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in South Point Cemetery.
