Edmund J. Cunningham

October 16, 1892 — January 1, 1753

Edmund J. Cunningham, 58, World War I veteran, died suddenly Sunday afternoon at is Guys Mills home, near Frenchtown.

A farmer and carpenter, Mr. Cunningham moved into the county from Pittsburgh 22 years ago.  He was a member of St. Hippolyte's Catholic Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Coletta Schneider Cunningham; two daughters, Mrs. Donald J. Mitcham of Cochranton and Miss Edith Cunningham of Meadville; two sons, Edmund J. Cunningham, disabled veteran of World War II, at McGuire Hospital in Richmond, VA and Phillip J. Cunningham at home; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Smith of Meadville and Mrs. Ernest Lane of Akron, OH.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
