Edna K. Huckelbury, 82, of Saegertown, a former legal secretary, died Monday, March 1, 1993, at Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Meadville, August 16, 1910, a daughter of Millard E. and Edna Shaffer Clark. She married Leo G. Huckelbury, June 17, 1936. He preceded her in death October 22, 1982.
She was a legal secretary, first for attorney Walter McClintock, then for attorney Raymond P. Shafer, and then for attorney John Fuller. She also assisted her husband in operation of the former Huckelbury's Restaurant from 1945 to 1966. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher at the church. She was a member of the Legal Secretary Club; a 50-year member of Randolph Grange; a member and volunteer at Meadville YMCA; and a member of the former Meadville City Hospital Aux.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Paul of Cortland, OH; two sisters, Esther Hill of Saegertown and Marian Humes of Meadville; a brother, Austin M. Clark of Meadville; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Myers; and three brothers, Myron Clark, Clyde Clark and Wray Clark.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
