Edna L. Roha

Edna L. Roha, 93, formerly of Meadville, and a resident of Eastern Star Home, Bellevue, since August 1993, died Saturday at Bellevue Suburban Hospital following a period of declining health.

She was born in West Mead Township May 2, 1902, a daughter of the late Emory and Clara Hygus Kightlinger.  She married Harold G. Roha March 1922, and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1993.  She had first been employed at the Van Raalte Silk Mill of Meadville had also worked at Talon and had been the bookkeeper for the former Roha Dairy.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and its Wesleyan Circle; a member of Golden Crown Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star; member and past Noble Grand of Myrtle Rebekah Lodge and member and past Queen of Dames of Malta.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Doris) Mekeel of Beverly Hills, FL and Mrs. John (Rita) Alcook of Pittsburgh; one son, Donald M. Roha of Silver Springs, MD; one sister, Pearl Griffith of Pittsburgh; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lewis, Martin, Lawrence and John Kightlinger.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
