Edna M. Kebert, 78, of Meadville, died Thursday, May 25, 1995, at Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born May 29, 1916, in Sharpsville, a daughter of the late Charles and Edna Hardwidge Lake. She married Fred P. Kebert August 16, 1936. He survives.
She was a graduate of the Meadville High School, and had been employed at the J. C. Penny Co., and One Hour Martinizing for several years. She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church, and was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and West Mead #1 Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
Survivors in addition to her husband include four sisters, Jeanette Hunt of Meadville, Isabelle Hunter of Saegertown, Kathryn (Kay) Smyles of Detroit and Shirley Stevenson of Meadville; three brothers, Charles Lake, Evron Householder and Edgar Householder, all of Saegertown; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert D. Kebert.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
