Edna M. Warren

Edna M. Warren, 88, a resident of the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown, died Sunday, March 21, 1999 at her residence following a period of declining health.

She was born in Meadville, November 24, 1910, a daughter of the late George and Edna Locke Schnauber.  She married Leo H. Warren January 27, 1932.  He preceded her in death in 1951.

Mrs. Warren had been employed by the G. C. Murphy Co. as a retail sales clerk for 15 years, the Meadville Telephone Co. as an operator for 10 years, and the Bell Telephone Co. for 5 years.  She had attended the United Brethren Church of Cochranton.  She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aux.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Luikart (Richard) of Saegertown; one son, David L. Warren (JoAnn) of Laurel, MS; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and two nieces.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Eunice Kilmer and Mary Voehl.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
