Edward B. Milner, 71, of Meadville, died at Flickinger's Convalescent Home Tuesday, June 19, 1973, after a long illness. He had been at the home for three weeks.
Born at Erie, July 31, 1901, a son of William and Julia Peck Milner. He married Florence Houser in October 1929. Mr. Milner was an auditor for the former Meadville Telephone Co., retiring in 1961. He was employed by the telephone company for a total of 32 years, working at the Jamestown, NY, office for some of that time. He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church and a former member of Meadville Rotary Club.
Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. John (Shirley) Banter of Boca Raton, FL; a son, Robert B. of Meadville; two brothers, Harold of Green Valley, AZ and Lester of Erie; several nieces and nephews and nine grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment as in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
