Edward C. Rush, 80, veteran Randolph Township farmer, died suddenly Saturday afternoon at his home near Guys Mills.
Born in Randolph Township, son of the late Augustus and Mary Bailey Rush, he resided in the township all his life, with the exception of a short period during which he lived at Oil City.
He was a member of St. Hippolyte's Roman Catholic Church, Frenchtown.
Surviving are his widow, Nettie DeMaison Rush; two sons, Carl A. of Erie and Arthur E. of Meadville; a granddaughter, Mrs. Edward Schuster of Erie; two brothers, Fred Rush of Frenchtown and Lewis of Venangoboro and three sisters, Mrs. Fred DeMaison of Frenchtown and Mrs. Francis DeMaison and Mrs. Raymond Nageotte, both of Meadville.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
