Edward Day Sizer, 98, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since April 1986, and formerly of Pittsburgh, died Monday, November 30, 1987, at Wesbury following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Sizer was born in Sizerville, November 16, 1889, a son of William and Bertha Earl Sizer.
He was a boiler operator at the Mason Lodge, Pittsburgh, for many years. He was a member of Scottish Rite Bodies, Pittsburgh and the Elks Lodge, Pittsburgh.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Victor (Shirley) Galati of Zelienople; one son, Harold Sizer of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Earl Sizer.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
