Edward “Eddie” H. Vermellion, Jr., 57 of Jackson Center, passed away on June 11, 2019 at his home. Eddie was born in Pittsburgh on January 18, 1962 to the late Edward H. and Virginia Drexler Vermellion. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School and worked for many different food establishments through his working life. Eddie loved to go fishing and tinkering with nearly anything and everything. He also enjoyed collecting matchbox cars and was an animal lover. He will be remembered as a compassionate man that would do anything for anyone and didn’t have a mean bone in his body. Eddie is survived by his sisters, Roxann Jean (Bryon) Bomboy, Erie, Debbie (Wayne) Mittelmeier of Jackson Center, and Sharon (Kurt) Fritsche of Jackson Center, nieces and nephews Joshua and Jestine Feltenberger, Lindsey and Ashley Bomboy, and Jacob, Ciara, and Shane Dennis, as well as one great-niece McKenna. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Jarrod Fritsche. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
