Edward J. Zelasco

Edward J. “Zeke” Zelasco, Jr., 56, of Meadville died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Meadville December 21, 1958 a son of Edward J. and Barbara Parrasewich Zelasco, Sr.  He married Jennifer Kightlinger March 27, 1999 and she survives.

He was a 1976 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and worked most recently in the Secondary Finishing Department of Acutec for the past 10 years.  However, he was also well known in the area for his auto detailing having worked at Fluff and Buff and Joe’s Car Cleaning.  He was a member of Vernon Central Vol. Fire Dept. and was an avid Oakland Raider Fan.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Jennifer, include: a daughter, Amber Yates and her husband Josh of Monessen, PA; a brother, David Zelasco and his wife Mickey of Meadville; two nephews, Andrew and Dalton Zelasco both of Meadville; a niece, BoDee Birtciel of Meadville and an aunt, Mary Jehle of Tampa, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services will be held.
