Edward M. Gandelot, a Randolph Township resident during his entire 86 years, died yesterday afternoon at Spencer Hospital, Meadville. He had been in failing health for several months.
Born on the farm where he lived all his life, Gandelot was a member of St. Hippolyte's Roman Catholic Church at Frenchtown. He worked as a farmer.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Harold Hargenrader, who lives at the Gandelot homestead; two sons, Nelson at home and Harold of Guys Mills; two brothers, Valentine of Titusville and Albert of Pittsburgh; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
