Edward “Skip” W. Vale, 86 of Stoneboro, passed away on January 19, 2021, Skip was born in Pittsburgh on August 1, 1934 to the late Edward R. and Virginia O. (Ellis) Vale. He was a graduate of East High School in Erie and went on to serve his Country in the United States Navy. Skip worked at GE in Erie and as a mechanic for Griffin Motors in Meadville and was self-employed for many years. Skip enjoyed rugby in his younger years and enjoyed socializing with friends. Skip married his beloved wife Judith “Judy” Vale on June 13, 1959, she preceded him in death on March 17, 2013. Skip is survived by his sons; Kirk Vale and wife Debbie of Conneaut Lake, and Troy Vale and wife Tracey of Greenville, grandchildren; Derek Vale, Kory Vale and wife Stephanie, Kaitlyn Vale, and Kassidy Vale, great-grandson Darwin Vale, and sister Linda Foster. Skip was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
