Mrs. Effie A. Flaugh, 93, of Meadville, widow of Ernest Flaugh, who died in 1933, died Tuesday, September 5, 1978, at United Methodist Nursing Hospital where she had been a patient for the past year.
Born in Woodcock Boro, January 23, 1885, she was a daughter of Charles and Hattie Rust Beige. She was a seamstress for many years working for several local retail clothing stores. A member of Stone United Methodist Church, she also was a member of Meadville Grange.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Curtis of Phoenix, Mrs. Stanley (Vera) Keohler of Stanley, NC and Mrs. Carl (Betty) Rose of Geneva,OH; a son, Charles W. Flaugh of Meadville; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Gravel Run Cemetery.
