Eileen M. (Yuhasz) Daly

Eileen M. Daly, 76, of Meadville died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in Meadville November 20, 1944 a daughter of Emery James and Virginia McGonnell Yuhasz, Sr.  She married William M. Daly, Jr. in 1966 and he preceded her in death in 1987.

She was a graduate of the former St. Agatha High School and Spencer Hospital School of Nursing.  She worked as a registered nurse at the former Mead Nursing Home and for Visiting Nurses Association of Crawford County retiring in 2008.  In her younger years, she enjoyed crocheting, reading and dancing and more recently enjoyed old movies on AMC and Turner Classic Movies, shopping on HSN and QVC and going to the casino.  She was very proud of her rose garden and also loved her cats.

She is survived by her long-time companion, Tommy Luzier; her daughter, Michelle Daly; a son, Timothy Daly, Sr. (Stacy) all of Meadville; a grandson, Timothy Daly, Jr.; a brother, Joseph Yuhasz of Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Emery Yuhasz, Jr.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her several friends who supported her during her illness along with Dr. Gurleen Pasricha and the staff of the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, the staff of DaVita Dialysis and Dr. Sean Unice for the wonderful care given to Eileen.

Private family services will be held at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville with Fr. Jeffrey Lucas, Epiphany of the Lord Parish, officiating.

Interment will be in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
