Eleanor Eye Lefever

Eleanor Eye LeFever, 71, of Meadville, died Thursday, October 27, 1988, at Rolling Fields Nursing Home in Conneautville.

She was born in Gasseway, WV, October 9, 1917, a daughter of Harry and Martha Mae Scott Woodley.  She married Robert Eye.  She subsequently married Donald C. LeFever February 17, 1977.  He preceded her in death March 20, 1983.

She was employed for 17 years as a sales clerk with Ardis Dress and Beauty Shop.  She previously was a self-employed dressmaker and worked at Talon at one time.  She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John (Martha) Shaffer of Meadville; two sons, Robert Eye of San Francisco and Chuck Eye of Suffolk, VA; three sisters, Mrs. Merle (Virginia) Golden of Phillipi, WV, Mrs. Dale (Lillian) Stainbrook of Conneaut Lake and Mrs. Richard (Olive) Murphy of Wynnewood; a brother, Thomas E. Woodley of Coraopolis; six grandchildren and two-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
