Elgie P. Ray

October 22, 1874 — October 4, 1962

Mrs. Elgie P. Ray, 88, died Thursday, October 4, 1962, at the Methodist Home for the Aged on North Park Avenue following a short illness.  She was the widow of William B. Ray.

Mrs. Ray was born October 22, 1874, at Richmond, OH, a daughter of George and Edith Platt Hathaway.  She lived in Linesville for many years and at the Methodist Home since 1949.

She was a member of Linesville Methodist Church and was a life member of Diamond Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Clay Campbell of Akron, OH, P. R. Pollock of Conneaut, OH and George G. Pollock of Milan, MI and several grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Espyville Cemetery.
