Eli V. Milhailov, 79, of Guys Mills, died Sunday, November 3, 1963, at his home after an illness of four months.
Mr. Milhailov was born in Yugoslavia, September 15, 1884, and came to this country in 1901. He lived in Randolph Township for 47 years. He was engaged in farming and was a member of Randolph Grange and formerly of Serbian Orthodox Church. He married Maria Civitynan in December 1913. She died in 1931 and Mr. Milhailov raised their thirteen children.
Surviving are eleven children, Miss Anna M, Miss Emily and Eli, Jr., all at home, Mrs. Ben (Mildred) Guthrie, Miss Edna and George L., all of Washington, DC, Miss Sadie M. and Miss Ruby, both of Grand Rapids, MI, Mrs. Maynard (Desta) Stevens of Lindley, NY, Milan M. of Dallas, TX and John C. of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Vairo of Grove City and John in Yugoslavia; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A daughter, Donna died in 1958 and a son, Vairo, was killed in 1944 in action at Normandy, France.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Radle Cemetery, Randolph Township.
