Elicia P. Osgood

Mrs. Elicia P. Osgood, 88, a resident of the United Methodist Home since August 1967 died at City Hospital Thursday, September 2, 1976, after a brief illness.

She was born at Lundy's Lane, Erie County, August 17, 1888, daughter of Jefferson and Lucinda Clark Rhoades.  She married Herbert E. Osgood who died in 1951.  Mrs. Osgood was employed for several years in the library at Allegheny College.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and formerly was active in the Women's Christian Temperance Union.

Survivors include a son, Philip J. Osgood of Baltimore, MD.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Hope Cemetery, Lundy's Lane.
