Elinorah Groger

Elinorah (Speedo) Groger, 80, of Meadville, wife of Thurman Groger, died Wednesday, February 6, 1984, at Spencer Hospital. She was born near Clearfield, October 19, 1904, a daughter of Fred and Mae Schwab Weaver. She married Mr. Groger in 1943. She had worked as a waitress for many years at several area businesses and was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include four sisters, Mrs. George (Eva) Harvey and Mrs. Almer (Elva) Teed, both of Black Ash; Mrs. Edna Doyle of Dorset, OH; and Mrs. Elsie Mook of Meadville; and two brothers, Cliff Weaver of Truth or Consequences, NM and Fred Weaver of Slippery Rock. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Services Past Services
