Elizabeth Dobson Paden

Mrs. Elizabeth Dobson Paden, 86, a resident of the Methodist Home since December 16, 1959, formerly of Ripley, NY, died Monday afternoon, December 23, 1968, at City Hospital following a brief illness.  She had been a nursing care patient at the home for a number of years.

Mrs. Paden was born in England, April 7, 1882, a daughter of James and Alice Howarth Partington.  She came to the US at an early age and was educated in Pittsburgh schools.  She was married to Charles A. Dobson who died in 1953.  In August of 1955, she married John E. Paden and continued to live in Ripley.

Mrs. Paden was a member of the United Methodist Church of Ripley, NY.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Quincey Cemetery, Ripley, NY.
