Elizabeth E. Bodosky Davis, 90, of Conneaut Lake, died Sunday, August 21, 2005, at Rolling Fields Nursing Home.
Born July 25, 1915 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Barnishman. She married Joseph Bodosky, who preceded her in death in 1963. She later married Bert Davis, who preceded her in death in 1987.
She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church.
She was a graduate of Schenley High School in Pittsburgh, where she had won many swimming events.
She was employed by Polis Restaurant in Pittsburgh, had worked in Chicago, IL and retired from Fassetts Restaurant in Conneaut Lake after 20 years of service.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed working and meeting people while part of the restaurant industry.
Survivors include one son, David A. Bodosky of Conneaut Lake; one grandson, Dr. David J. Bodosky (Kippy) of Conneaut Lake; one granddaughter, Pamela Ann Davis (Donald) of Conneaut Lake; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Bodosky, Tabitha Davis and Dawson Bodosky and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Grucula and Martha Locke and seven brothers, Michael, Joe. John, Walter, George, Emil and Andrew Barnishan.
Services were held with the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
Interment was in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.
