Elizabeth E. Connor

Elizabeth (Betty) E. Connor, 95, of Meadville, died Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born November 2, 1919 in Ashland, PA, a daughter of Elsworth and Kathryn Manhart Howenstein.  She married Charles J. Connor February 25, 1946 and he preceded her in death January 17, 2006.

Betty was employed at Montgomery Wards and subsequently at Kronenfeld Furs in Meadville.  She was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed quilting, knitting, and crocheting.

Survivors include two sons, Lee Connor of Meadville and Edward Connor of Beech Grove, IN.

A private funeral service will be held at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville with the Rev. Lucas Hanna, Pastor of the Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
