Elizabeth Glenn Engel

Mrs. Elizabeth Glenn Engel, 84, died at Smith Institute early Friday morning, November 19, 1971.  She previously was a patient at Mead Nursing Home for three years.

Mrs. Engel was born at Johnstown on November 30, 1886, a daughter of John W. and Minerva Berkeybile Nestor.  On March 10, 1912, she married Harvey C. Engel who died in 1944.  Mrs. Engel was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Johnstown.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Thomas (Margaret) Hughes of Pittsburgh; two brothers, John R. Nestor of Meadville and Donald Nestor of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
