Mrs. Elizabeth M. Dunham, 92, of Meadville, died at her home Monday, February 17, 1975, after an extended illness.
Born in Meadville, February 10, 1883, she was a daughter of Fleet and Catherine Deiutch Lupher. She married Bert Dunham September 18, 1907. He died in 1926.
A school teacher for 34 years, the last 20 years of her career were spent teaching at First District Elementary School until her retirement in 1951. She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church and the church's Wesleyan Circle. A member of the Retired Teachers Assoc. and the Home Decorators Guild, she was a charter member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aux. She attended the former Edinboro State Normal School.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Helen) Joslyn and a sister, Mrs. George (Mildred) Hood, both of Meadville; a granddaughter, Mrs. William (Penny) Lavier of Silver Creek, NY; a great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
