Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, 88, formerly of DuBois, who had been a patient at the United Methodist Nursing Home since January 1970, died at the hospital unit of the home Wednesday evening, April 21, 1976, after being hospitalized two weeks.
Born in Knoxdale, September 13, 1887, she was a daughter of Ephriam and Mollie Roades Johns. She was the widow of Clyde Miller. Mrs. Miller was a member of the First United Methodist Church of DuBois.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. William (Ruth) Crew of Miami, Mrs. E. I. (Eva) Johnson of DuBois, Mrs. Joyce Loschman of Spring Valley, NY and Mrs. Richard (Edelweis) Stone of Spartansburg, SC; a son, Clempson of Edison, NY; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A brother, preceded her in death.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
