Ella M. Curry

March 20, 1876 — March 27, 1960

Mrs. Ella M. Curry, of Meadville, widow of M. H. Curry, died early Sunday morning, March 27, 1960, at City Hospital.

Ill for a long time, Mrs. Curry had been a patient at City Hospital for four years and seven months.

Mrs. Curry, who lived in Meadville for 55 years, was a member of Stone Methodist Church where she had been active for many years in the Women's Society of Christian Service.  She was a member of the Ladies Advisory Committee of City Hospital, was a charter member of Meadville Woman's Club and served on the board of the Young Women's Christian Assn.

The former Ella M. Graffius, daughter of William W. Graffius and Hanna Jane Koffman, of Punxsutawney, she was married to H. M. Curry on September 5, 1894.  Three children all are residents of Meadville.  They are:  Mrs. Ethel Klingensmith, Mrs. Dorothy Isherwood and Mrs. John H. (Gertrude) Bozic.  There are five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Her husband, who was a well known local businessman, died 10 years ago.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
