Ellen Marie Kidd

Ellen Marie Kidd, 59, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie.

She was born July 28, 1961 in Lima, OH, a daughter of Glen W. Kidd and Mary Kidd Shilling.

Ellen was a 1980 graduate of Meadville High School and took nurse aide classes at the Crawford County Vocational Technical School.  She worked as a cook at Pizza Hut in Meadville and previously was a candy striper at Meadville Medical Center as well as working various jobs while living in Florida.

Ellen enjoyed crocheting, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and participated in programming at CHAPS.

Survivors include her father, Glen W. Kidd (Susan) of Meadville; her mother, Mary Shilling of Crossville, TN; a brother, Todd Kidd (Annette) of Linesville; two sisters, Karen Todak (Ken) of Anaheim, CA and Sara Beach (Ty) of San Diego, CA; a step-brother, Curtis Williams of Nashville, TN; two nieces and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Kidd and her step-father, Richard Shilling.
