Elliot N. Lindquist

Elliot N. Lindquist, 63, died at home Saturday, July 11, 1981, after a sudden illness.  He had been ill for a year and a half.

He was born in Jamestown, NY, May 12, 1918, son of Carl and Hilbur Norberg Lindquist.  He married Joan Pickard August 5, 1944.  He was employed most recently at Weldon's of Meadville.  He had been manager of the Printz Co. men's clothing store from 1955 to 1975 and previously was employed at the Printz Co., Jamestown, NY.  He worked for the company for a total of 33 years.

He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church, of which he was a former choir member.  He attended Jamestown public schools and graduated from Miami University of Ohio.  He was a senior active member of Meadville Rotary Club and a member of Spencer Hospital Board of Corporators.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Thomas E. of Meadville, Jeffrey C. of Sandusky, OH and James M. of Houston, TX and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marguerite.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery.
