Elmer L. (Bud) LeComte, 73, of Meadville, died Friday, February 16, 2001 at Meadville Medical Center following an illness of the past 18 months.
He was born in Meadville May 25, 1927, a son of Elmer A. and Eunice Manges LeComte. He married Maxine Wygant April 12, 1958 and she survives.
He attended Meadville Public Schools, and retired in 1990 from Meadowbrook Dairy as a sales and distribution person after 38 years of service. In his retirement he worked part time at Pennsylvania Tool and Gauges.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his step-mother, Leah LeComte of Meadville; two sons, Daniel A. LeComte of Meadville and Thomas L. LeComte of Champlin, MN; three step-sons, James and Alton Fargo, both of Meadville and John Fargo of Bangkok, Thialand; a step-daughter, Diane Jamison of Meadville; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Gerald Fargo.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
