Elnora E. Dupont

Mrs. Elnora E. DuPont, 93, formerly of Meadville, died at Peaceful Rest Home, Cochranton, Wednesday, October 8, 1975, after being in failing health for some time.  She had been a patient at the home since 1970.

Born in Wayne Township, July 8, 1882, she was a daughter of Joseph E. and Eliza J. McCracken McDaniel.  She married Fred W. DuPont who died in 1959.  She and her husband operated a farm in West Mead Township for many years.  In her earlier years, she taught school in Wayne, West Mead and Vernon Townships.  She was a graduate of Edinboro State Normal School and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
